As many COB will know, Paul covered for Garry during 2022 and will play with the band during 2023 following Garry's passing. I was delighted when he agreed to have a chat to introduce himself to followers of the band. When researching his musical career it was so interesting to see the many artists he had worked with and some of the projects he has been involved with.
In this first segment he speaks a little of his relationship with Garry, the story behind why he wears blue overalls during Rats gigs, working at Ridge Farm Studio's and joining his first band with ex-Aerosmith member Rick Dufay
In the second segment Paul covers some of the artists he has worked with, including his association with Tony Visconti and touring America playing the David Bowie album 'The Man Who Sold The World'. And then how he became part of Bob's solo touring band in 2011 . I did say he had worked with Tom Robinson, when it was Sir Tom Jones (which I had written down!!).
In the final segment Paul covers the difference in playing Rats songs with Bob's solo band compared with the Rats, his favorite songs to play live with the the band and where you can access other material that Paul has been involved with.
I would like to thank Paul for readily agreeing to do this chat, it was an absolute pleasure and honour to do. He does visit COB, so if you have any comments or questions, who knows, you may receive a response!

I thoroughly enjoyed the album Paul co-produced called 'Gothic Novel' by Last Day Sect and his collaboration with Lisa Ronson.
Here is a clip of Paul and Lisa playing in St Albans in 2017
